Book Levels:
Take a closer look at our book levels:
- Introductory: This category is made up of mainly board books, including: bilingual board books, one-word introductory concept board books, and interactive board books. Often children aged 0-1 years old subscribe here, or new Arabic learners of all ages. These hard carton books are perfect for little hands that pull and grab at books. They are also perfect for the brand new readers and learners of Arabic, interested in books with both English and Arabic (with some transliteration) as well as simple concepts introducing the alphabet, numbers, animals, and shapes.
- Early: This category consists of mainly interactive board books best suited for ages 1-2 years old. As your child develops a longer attention span, these books are appropriate with around 2-3 sentences of a basic story per page, as well as exciting interactive elements (puzzles, squeaky buttons, finger puppets, touch and feel, and sliding tabs).
- Simple: This category consists of picture book early readers. These books are for the little ones who are more familiar with Arabic and want some basic stories. Often, this targets children 3-5 years old with stories that around 1-2 lines per page. Stories often cover imaginative and basic topics with food and animals, may rhyme, and have a bunch of action that will keep your little one interested and laughing as you read.
- Intermediate: The picture books selected for this level use masterful illustration and longer storylines to introduce more language and concepts to your growing child. Often, this targets children 6-8 years old. The characters in these books may face more advanced themes in friendship, consequences, and social issues such as animals rights, culture, and disability. Expect further discussion after each book with your little one and an easy way to introduce more concepts in the Arabic language, highly improving your child's vocabulary.
- Advanced: This category sends only chapter books, ranging from shorter to longer books with the majority containing several illustrations within the book. Often this targets children 9-12 years old. Your child will gain full confidence in the Arabic language as they complete chapter after chapter and become fully independent readers.

I have so much trouble finding Arabic books with actually good stories. My kids loved their age appropriate books. The 1 year old loves his board book that was shiny and the 4 year old loved his alphabet book. I have actually been trying to teach him his Arabic alphabet and he has not been interested. This was the first alphabet book that he enjoyed. The book for the older kids level, my small family is big, was so sweet it made me cry. They did such a great job choosing these books and I look forward to each monthly subscription.

I absolutely love these books! I have been looking for good quality Arabic books in the US for very long. We are an Arabic speaking family and ever since my toddler started daycare at 2.5 yr his Arabic went downhill and English was predominately despite our efforts and house rules. I feel these books have been a great tool in achieving our goal and whats even better is that it’s in fusuha “فُصحى". It’s absolutely worth the money. 1 note though and for context, if you are an Arabic speaking family or you feel your kid is a bit advanced try to choose an older age category. We got the 6-7 yrs category I believe. It contains about 2-4 incomplete lines per page which I felt is appropriate for my son who is currently 3.
I really like the board books for my young grandson- they’re sturdy and this is the first one in a series about different facts done as a cute story.
We look forward to getting our books every month! They’re always fun and interactive!

I am loving these books, but not as much as my son is!! He is 14 months and I have been looking for good quality, appropriate Arabic books for him for a while and when I found out about this amazing subscription for children’s books, I was thrilled! They are perfect for him and he is obsessed with them. I want to expose him more to the Arabic language, and these books are successfully doing that. They are well chosen, entertaining, and educational. Seriously, my son asks me to read them to him multiple times a day. Arabic is our mother language and the language of Qora’an so it’s really important for us to teach our kid the Arabic language specially that we live in a country were they don’t speak Arabic. We loved the book selection! My daughter had so much fun with الخروف لفلوف—the rhymes really made her laugh. A Small Big Big Family was also a huge hit. It came at just the right time, especially after reading ياسمين و المولود الجديد. That story made my daughter a little sad since she doesn’t have siblings like Yasmin, so I had to put it away. But A Small Big Big Family filled that gap perfectly and brought her so much joy. And of course, we adore لولو على الشاطئ—there’s always such a sweet, practical lesson in every book from that series.
