She has worked in the publishing industry for over 10 years and helped publish over 40 books in English and Arabic. She is a critic in the field of childern's literature, holding a MPhil in Critical Approaches to Children’s Literature from the University of Cambridge, UK. In 2018, she founded Arabic Book A Month.
